NRØT/W0PNA - SSB and CW

This is Taty's and my fifth straight year working mobile in the Wisconsin QSO Party.

Once again we will be trackable on APRS as NR0T-9 on aprs.fi or at this link:  http://aprs.fi/#!mt=roadmap&z=11&call=a%2FNR0T-9

We have had a major change of plans.  Taty, W0/OA4ABC, has to work on Sunday and it is uncertain as to when she will be done.  So we have scrapped our route which was to start in La Crosse and loop the SW counties.  We have 40 minutes or so to get from home to the nearest starting point in Pierce County.  Depending on when we can get started, it will be one of two routes:

The shorter route is 3:45 of driving in Wisconsin.  Pierce (45 min), Pepin (30 min), Buffalo (20 min), Trempelau (20 min) (possible detour to Jackson), Eau Claire (45 min), Dunn (30 min), St. Croix (35 min)

The longer of the two routes is about 5:00 of driving in Wisconsin.  This is the route we took in 2011:  Pierce (45 min), Pepin (30 min), Buffalo (20 min), Trempelau (20 min), Jackson (15 min), Clark (45 min), Chippewa (45 min), Dunn (30 min), St. Croix (35 min).

We alternate between Rolf on CW and Taty on SSB, depending on conditions.

W9HB - CW and VHF/UHF FM

Wisconsin QSO Party planned route includes Waushara, Winnebago, Fond du Lac, Green Lake, Marquette, Adams, Juneau, Sauk, Richland, Vernon, Crawford, Grant, Iowa, Lafayette, Green, Rock. Second op/driver is KF9D. We will be running APRS as W9HB-9. We will have FM VHF/UHF active also.

NE9U

KK9K, N9BCA, and myself will be starting from the cabin in Florence County again this year...hopefully we wont get stuck on the icy hills on the back roads getting to the cabin this year!  Since the back roads in northern Wisconsin are still very icy, we are gonna try and stick to main roads.....not as exciting, but safer!  We hope to hit:  (last few might be iffy and subject to improvisation!)

Florence, Marinette, Forest, Oneida, Lincoln, Langlade, Marathon, Portage, Waushara, Marquette, Adams, Columbia, Sauk, Juneau, Monroe, Jackson, and Wood.

Thanks to WE9V and K0PC, we will be running APRS during our journey Sunday for those who would like to track us.  We can be tracked here:  http://tinyurl.com/NE9U-WIQP

W9MSE – CW Only

CW only with most operation on 40/20 meters, with the possibility of 15 or 80 meters if bands and time permit.  Route may vary if circumstances require.  Planned route for W9MSE for 2014 WIQP, weather, roads, health permitting (and the minivan with 271,000 miles holds up).

Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Kewaunee, Brown, Oconto, Shawano, Menominee, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Portage, Waushara, Marquette, Green Lake.  Enjoy the contest and THINK SPRING!

N0IJ

Hopefully most roads will be cleared, and I will be able to make the following route, which is the same as the last years.  All times in CDT.

Burnett: 13:00, Washburn:  13:10, Barron:  13:21, Polk:  13:45, St. Croix:  14:14, Dunn:  14:26, Chippewa:  14:54, Rusk:  15:36, Taylor:  15:49, Rusk, (again):  16:01, Price:  16:17, Lincoln:  16:47, Oneida:  17:06, Vilas:  17:35, Iron:  17:55, Price (again):  18:12, Ashland:  18:32, Sawyer:  19:02, Bayfield:  19:42, Douglas:  19:53

If possible, I am going to try and figure out a way to spend more time in Bayfield, as I have had calls to be on 20, and it's hard to squeeze in 3 bands in 11 minutes.  Douglas might be iffy unless the roads are very good.  Operation all CW, unless rates slow in Price.  Most likely keying on 40 and 20, with some 80 near end.  Thanks for looking for us.

John, N0IJ, op., Terry, W0TVD, driver

KEØG - CW Only
WI QSO Party. Planning to operate portable QRP in Pierce, Pepin, and Buffalo counties. May not get started until 1900Z. Will start each county on 80M, then 40, 20, 15, and 10M, in that order. As time permits, will circle back to 40M, 20M, 15M before moving on. If you want or need RST, just send it and I'll reciprocate. Please give me a call!

K8IR

KG9GH and I should be back on the roads after staying home last year.  The route, subject to change, looks like:  DOO KEW BRO OUT CAL WIN WSR POR WAP SHA MEN LAN OCO FOR MRN FLO.  Mostly CW, mostly 40 and 20.  Will check 15.

KB9OWD - CW Only

Wisconsin QSO Party Trip added kind of at the last minute. This route is optimistic but the front end is firm, may drop one of the more populated counties at the end depending on time. Starting at 1800Z until 0100Z. 20 and 40 CW, maybe 15 if activity warrants it. Pretty much all CW effort, maybe SSB but doubtful. 80 meters in the last hour and a half. Here is the planned route as of now: Crawford, Vernon, Richland, Iowa, Lafayette, Green, Rock, Walworth, Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington, Waukesha, Jefferson and Dane. Hope to see many of you in the pileups! 73
