W9NAW Portable Operation
I will be operating WIQP-2018 from Wood County (WOO) this year.
Operation will be from the Americas Best Value Inn, 8th Street South (Hwy 13), south side of Wisconsin Rapids. Operation will be on 75, 40 and 20 SSB as well as 2M (146.55 MHz-FM). I am using two OCF dipole antennas to cover all directions. Will one of you rovers passing thru give me a call to confirm WOO? Thanks.
Best of luck to everyone. It is a fun contest.

NE9U WQP Plans
Sorry for the late info....lotsa wrinkles going on. Don't have time to set up a true mobile operation, my mobile partner KK9K cant make the trip this year.
But Art, N9BCA and I want to do something so we will run a few up north counties. Wont be operating between lines though...just stationary as a single OP. And of course Saturday night steaks!
Plans right now are:
Iron
Vilas
Price
Oneida
Lincoln
Langlade
Forest
Oconto
Marinette
Florence
Hoping for not a lot of down time, but probably over two hours of non operating driving between stops....

W0ZQ Route Plan
90% chance of making it out on Sunday. Planned route:
Clark
Eau Claire
Jackson
Trempealeau
Buffalo
Pepin
Dunn
Pierce
St. Croix
80, 40, 20m CW.
Note that the OKQP will be running concurrently on Sunday until 3:00 pm with their mobile stations focused on X.040 and down (http://k5cm.com/okqp2017rules.pdf). If you work any of them they need 599 WI. Safe driving everyone.

K9TIT Route Plan
Sorry for the late submission. We are going to do a very similar route to what we did last year and the counties we will be in will be:
Door
Kewaunee
Browm
Manitowoc
Sheboygan
Ozaukee
Washington
Dodge
Fond du Lac
Winnebago
Outagamie
Calumet
There is chance, but it's a very slim chance, that we'll be able to get to Green Lake, Waushara and Waupaca counties, it all depends on how we are doing on time towards the end of the contest. We typically decide which way to go when we are in Dodge county depending on the time.
We will be running APRS as K9TIT-9 during the contest.
73 and Good Luck!
Tim KC9FSH & Andy KC9IZF
Good Luck in the
Contest!
